Perched on a hill in the sleepy hamlet of Mauna, Machus Cottage, is an awe-inspiring property with all modern amenities amidst an unassuming Himalayan charm. The cottage is snug between Almora and Mukteshwar, and offers an unparalleled view of the mighty Nanda Devi.
All of the wooden floors, ceiling beams, and fireplaces are in keeping with an old-world charm. The property has three cozy bedrooms with attached bathrooms, and two attics to keep children and adults entertained. Our rooms are spacious, bright, with windows overlooking the Almora hills. The cottage is surrounded by views of the eternal Himalayas, and pine forests. From guided walks in forests to trekking and scenic drives – Machus Cottage will offer you all that you are looking for in a perfect vacation.

Machus Cottage is a spacious mountain home that is tastefully furnished, with cozy fireplaces and wooden floors that lend it a welcoming touch. The high-ceiling house with an open living room comes with two bedrooms on the ground floor, and three bedrooms on the upper floor. Each room comes with an attached bathroom and a fireplace.

HOMEMADE MEALS
The open living room has a cozy seating area with a fireplace and a bookshelf, making for the most authentic mountain experience. On the other end of the room is a dining space with an LCD TV for guests to enjoy delicious home-cooked meals, as they unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Apart from that on request you can have a guide to take you trekking up the hill or down to Kapileshwar Mandir . Take your pick of easy and tough treks and village walks, do some Walnut and Plum picking , have a picnic in the forest ..........
